A New Jersey father is facing murder charges in the tragic death of his 6-year-old son, who succumbed to injuries from what authorities describe as chronic abuse.
Christopher Gregor, 29, of Monroe in Middlesex County, had been initially charged with endangering the welfare of a child after the death of Corey Micciolo on April 2, 2021, in Stafford Township.

The footage allegedly shows Corey repeatedly falling off a treadmill while his father, Gregor, increases the speed.
Reports suggest that Gregor forced his son to run on the treadmill as a means of weight loss, a claim supported by Corey himself to his mother, Breanna Micciolo, before his tragic death.

The Ocean County Medical Examiner’s Office determined Corey’s cause of death to be blunt force trauma, leading authorities to upgrade the charges against Gregor to murder.

Gregor, who denies any involvement in his son’s death, is currently held without bond in the Ocean County Jail.
